Dahlia Whispers Mini Collection

There’s something timeless about dahlias. Their layered petals, romantic shapes, and quiet elegance feel both nostalgic and fresh — which became the inspiration behind my latest mini collection, Dahlia Whispers.

Designed in a gentle palette of blush peach, soft sage, and warm cream, this collection was created to capture the feeling of wandering through an old cottage garden in the early morning light. I wanted each pattern to feel delicate, airy, and comforting, while still being versatile enough for modern fabric and home décor applications.

The hero print features blooming dahlias intertwined with soft trailing stems and buds, giving the collection a graceful sense of movement. To support the floral, I created a series of subtle coordinating prints including vintage-inspired stripes, a lightweight plaid, and a tiny tonal floral blender. Together, the patterns balance romance with structure and allow the collection to work beautifully across a variety of products.

I imagined these designs living on quilting fabrics, wallpaper, bedding, stationery, gift wrap, and feminine home décor pieces. The soft vintage palette also makes the collection especially suited to spring interiors and timeless lifestyle products.

One of my favorite parts of creating mini collections is building patterns that feel cohesive without becoming overly matched. I love when coordinates quietly support the hero print while still being strong enough to stand on their own.
